This is excellent, that Rolling Stones, pretty major media, puts out hours after Schmitt’s face plant, exposure of r-wing media trying to save a MAGA senator public blunder. This same-day response that usually comes days/weeks after the incident blunts the r-wing mssg, I think, for legacy media.

This is where mechanics of psychology comes in, even if the comment is more rhetorical than actual befuddlement. A good place to start is the mechanics of Stockholm Syndrome, because it’s the same mechanics if not the same as exposed to very limited, restrictive info diet combined w/group think.
It's inconceivable to me how someone who lost in a free & fair election can incite an angry mob to attack his own government, (the very definition of treason) & be allowed to run for any office ever again.

Dear government, don’t send startling, high-pitched alerts about wildfires to ordinary people's phones. Send them to the CEOs of fossil fuel companies and make them impossible to switch off until they stop the destructive plunder that's contributing to climate change.

I was never a reader for the pleasure of reading. I would think reading Cooper novels is very much for reading pleasure. It sounds like this guy was reading it because he viewed it as another accomplishment. That type of reader would of course take short cuts.

Why is it inconceivable that any rulings that are filed w/o any reasoning should be considered unenforceable? Why is it inconceivable that the public can openly challenge SCOTUS’s rulings that lack legal merit, contradictory, and/or have strong appearance of willful capriciousness (inconsistent)?
Amy Coney Barrett just told Congress that it would be inappropriate to explain the reasoning behind the Court’s unreasoned shadow docket orders. As if unreasoned judicial orders are a thing. They are not. The reasoning is the whole point.
