Angie Craig won ONE precinct in Minneapolis Ward 13. (Precinct 13-10, Fulton neighborhood, by Lake Harriet, the fancier houses), even though she was endorsed by Frey and Palmisano. And even then Angie only won by two votes, 566 to 564!! Peggy comfortably won every other precinct. 1/

I do wonder how it’s possible to govern a city when you’re this out of touch with the people you represent. In my own precinct (which is well-off and prime Her territory), Flanagan won by 50 pts. Her’s endorsement moved no one, and came across, like Craig’s campaign itself, as tremendously craven.

We want all 5,000 of our neighbors back.
26 people loaded onto yesterday's ICE Air flight at MSP.

Our team here in Minnesota started estimating passenger loads on these flights in early November, 2025.

We'll likely note the 5,000 person being flown into indefinite detention on Friday.

Angie Craig all but destroyed her political career and I doubt we will hear from her again but let's focus on Tafoya because she's a total MAGA nutjob. Oh yeah...a F**k Tom Emmer. I know he's not going anywhere but we don't make his life miserable enough.

The "centrist" think tank Third Way is looking to pay someone between $140,000 and $150,000 to spend their days trying to dig up dirt on DSA members. They're trying to sell this gig as "anti-extremism" work, which I find completely disgusting.

But don’t worry! The old print shop staffed with union workers is going to be a data center!!!!!!

🚨The polls are open for primary day 2026.

⚠️All the tired cliches are in effect:

-This is the most important election of our lifetimes.
-Make a plan to vote.
-Get in line, stay in line.
-Yard signs don't vote.
-This election isn't about me, it's about you. -It's all gonna come down to turnout.

i'm planning to vote early!
I know a lot of people who like voting on election day, but voting early helps your candidate out significantly.

Peggy Flanagan could use that help from you right now.

If you already know you're voting for her, do it.

DMs open if there's down-ballot races you'd like to discuss before voting.

St. Paul, Mn just implemented a higher minimum wage! Most businesses will now begin to pay $16.37/hr to start. This also gives everyone else significantly more bargaining power. A rising tide lifts all ships!

Thomas Paine is my favorite founding father. He was famously abolitionist and one of the earliest voices to point out the hypocrisy of fighting for independence while keeping slaves. He also firmly believed that keeping any friendship which required compromising your morals made you a bad person.
The founder we should talk more about is Thomas Paine, who will fuck your shit up every time. Here he is in The Rights of Man just ripping into any ideas of "originalism" and that kind of garbage.

best paragraph I've read today "in 1490, Pope Innocent VIII issued the Butterbrief (Butter Letter), allowing the use of butter in Stollen, but only for the prince’s household. Common bakers had to pay a fee to use butter — funds which conveniently went towards building the Freiberg cathedral."
