I wish I could comp Dungeon Crawler Carl lol it’s too big now but the survival is very similar to CRIES OF THE AGON’s contest rounds. Theres a dungeon in my book’s sequel 🥹 the biggest difference is my danger is slightly higher, there’s no level up& it’s romantic instead of a cat & her bodyguard 😂

I’m such a sentimental sap! I’m crying! I fully completed the game! Got all 86 ham chats, all 10 songs & all 12 stars! Oxnard, my favorite ham ham, had given me my last chat tofulfill my dictionary! My soul 😭 Now onto Ham Ham Heartbreak, probably one of my fav games of all time!

Making tweaks on pages based on agent &editor feedback & giggling. They all love Diarmuid's voice. That makes me happy. ;-; He's a great character & I had fun writing whatI feel comes after his #myth when a Greek goddess curses his soul & he must fight against other mythical heroes to save it. <3

I just finished my (too many to count) query rewrite after a god awful week testing my sanity & will to live after putting hours upon hours into Diarmuid’s stakes of the query and highlighting the agon more. Please let this be the one that sells the characters’ mental health arcs & the high stakes.😭

In leu of being hyperbolic about how show don't tell sometimes manifests generic and overused phrases—I think I permanently scarred one of my writing mutuals.
It was:
"Eyes widen bigger than a woman giving birth lalala,"
They'll definitely remember that when reading "eyes widened" lol SORRY! XD
