A disclosure like this doesn't say "I didn't use Gen Ai on anything that matters don't worry" like you think it does, it actually says "I don't respect translators and nobody else does either so I can get away with this much right?" which, frankly, does NOT make me believe its all you used it for.

This really puts stuff like publicly funded third spaces in perspective for me. It's so relatively cheap to build out community centers, gyms, makerspaces, studios etc.
The AI build-out is on track to become the biggest economic bet in U.S. history, dwarfing the investments made to fund other huge U.S. infrastructure projects such as the railroads, the highway system and the plumbing for the internet.

It's such a tell, the absolute chaos of their messaging.
AI is awesome and useful and inevitable, but it's getting out of control and could kill us all so we're going to pump the brakes, but keep using it or you'll be left behind, but we have no path to profitability and we're all in deep debt.

there was a reaction video years ago (that i can't find) of some guy getting progressively more upset at one of those ludicrous shakes they make so you can put photos of them on instagram. big shake with a slice of cake, a lollipop, sprinkles, granola bars, whip cream, etc.
