Amendment #4 would allow our state legislators to be paid a modest salary tied to the median #NewMexico salary. Let's vote YES and allow people of different professions and backgrounds to serve. They work for us year-round on interim committee meetings and constituent outreach. voteforchangenm.com

I discovered on my walk yesterday that we have a native Clematis in my neighborhood! Old man's beard (Clematis drummondii). It adds interesting texture to the #nativeplant garden here in the #Chihuahuan desert.

Bo French, in my America, a sold-out and diverse room of people just paid to be entertained by an Indian immigrant! And no one knew who the hell -you- were before you showed the world what a foul piece of shit you are! She's not on Blue Sky, but thank you Zarna Garg for coming to Albuquerque NM! 🩷

As a former resident of the farthest north area of the Hateful Crescent, 100% accurate. We moved there just as Obama came into office and White people lost their minds. We had a beautiful farm with animals and a wildflower meadow, but I couldn't stand it anymore. It got more hateful every year.
Southlake is a key city within the Hateful Crescent, a suburban arc around Dallas-Fort Worth that serves as home to a disproportionate and documented number of white supremacists, Christian nationalists, insurrectionists and mass shooters

This episode was so delightful!
A legendary typeface, a spectacular friendship breakup, and one extremely committed act of revenge.

I am thrilled that NM will be #4! #NewMexico has implemented progressive policies such as universal childcare and opportunity scholarships, and is the only state to not have a decline in ACA enrollment. Our voters know what questions to ask, because our majority-woman lege has gotten it done!
BREAKING: We just announced the DNC’s proposed 2028 Democratic presidential primary early window states.

A friend chose "In Perfect Light" for our book club, and it was one of my favorite books I had read in a very long time. I am new to the Borderlands, and therefore new to Mr. Sáenz, but I will keep reading his books. I hope the wonderful things people are saying about him comfort his family.
Benjamin Alire Sáenz, the acclaimed Las Cruces-born author of Aristotle and Dante, died Tuesday at 71 after a long illness.

He wrote across genres, refused easy definitions and helped younger writers trust their own voices.

I've never lived in a place where my vote mattered in the primary, so this is pretty exciting. If it goes through, we will vote before Super Tuesday!

Why does anyone even own 15 homes? We clearly don't tax some people enough. I am thankful not to live in TX anymore, but people I care about do. If Talarico wins, I am throwing a party.
Unearthed records just revealed that Ken Paxton owns 15 homes on a government salary.

This includes luxury real estate in Hawaii, Utah, and Florida.

#cactus, here? Yes! Opuntia humifusa (Eastern Prickly Pear) in the shade, by the Maine Coast!

We were gifted a piece of pine cone #cactus (Tephrocactus articulatus var. inermis) a couple of years ago. It didn't do anything until this spring, when we got a bunch of new arms. Surprise!! They aren't known to bloom often.

SO OBVIOUSLY fictional. It's embarrassing.
Air pollution 🤷‍♂️
Water usage 🤷‍♂️
Obviously fictional job promises ✅
A lot of people who have been eased into grifty lies as a norm ✅

Two more early votes for Deb at our household today.
This is a fascinating tale of DARVO, and basically a ringing endorsement of one candidate for everyone who cares. Also, cheers to friends in Santa Fe discomfiting this crew so deeply with your glares 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Plants that look like asparagus! My bear grass (xerophyllum tenax) is getting ready to bloom for the first time since I got it 3 years ago this October. NGL it's looked kind of homely this entire time. This better be good. And this Agave (agave parryi) in a local park is also popping. #nativeplants

The #Artemis mission has brought me so much joy!
I’m not crying, you’re crying 😭
-First mission to the moon in 53 years
-Farthest mission ever
-A historic crew
-Nutella in space!

In a world where so much feels overwhelming—we needed this reminder of our humanity. The universe is bigger than any one of us and we are in this together.
