And I'll add that when I (years ago) suggested it was weird how little attention this is getting as a factor in our uniquely-American pedestrian fatality numbers, nobody wanted to engage with my point.
Almost like it's a "well it's fine when *I* do it" sort of thing.

It’s crazy now because that I just mostly bike I can see how many people are on their phones and we all just treat this as a non-issue

Last year, miHoYo copied my puzzle game Ouros in Zenless Zone Zero.
Because they are a recognized, billion-dollar studio and my game isn't well known, some people are now assuming that their version is the original, and mine is the clone.

An extremely funny thing about retro rereleases that use unlicensed emulators is that you are basically committing the exact same crime (using software outside of the terms of its license) that has you so scared of downloading roms in the first place but now someone has monetized it.

Pretty brutal as lighting got poor & artificial lighting wasn't helpful due to the holographic nature of the puzzle. There were a lot of false fits which caused issues too. Successful in the end though. 6 hours and 4 minutes! Happy New Year everyone #HappyNewYear2026 #puzzle
