I moved to Victoria from Ottawa 7 years ago and these are some of the many things that I love about living here. Bathrooms, water fountains, bike valet, cleanliness, whimsy. I will add flowers. Municipal governments all over Vancouver Island plant flowers everywhere. Life can be beautiful.
I got to Victoria and Montreal and report back. Also: lots of photos of "Fuck AI" graffiti.

We have an infrastructure funding deficit of over $10 BILLION dollars. This is not something to sneeze at.

Chatter on the Reddit thread from someone whose partner was on the scene is that the cyclist was travelling south on Sussex and a driver made a left cross turn in front of them (going in to the Mint) & that the cyclist may be paralyzed from the neck down. #ottbike

I’ve made transit a priority by increasing investment, purchasing 500 new buses, and successfully launching Lines 2 and 4. With the start of pre-trial running in early October, we're now taking the next steps on the East Extension.
