so the official bluesky policy position is that you can't tell someone to kill themselves but you can tell a protected minority category that you hope that state kills them. Am i getting that right.
Are they threatening trans users directly? No. Trans folks in the US have been targeted repeatedly. That's awful and you have my sympathy.
Within the context of a single post we wouldn't consider it a direct threat or targeting a protected category. Ie send trans folks to concentration camps.

I got my philosophy degree a million years ago and didn’t do anything with it but reading this makes me want to tear my hair out! This shit is STUPID! So many nebulous terms like answer, value, benefit, defend, sanitize. These are contingent! They mean nothing in this context! So it ignored them!

What do you think are the right lessons from the gay rights movement? Act Up was far more radical and confrontational than any current trans movement
They apparently took all of the wrong lessons from the wildly successful gay rights movement, choosing to be as alienating as possible. I won't be surprised if it ends up like abortion and 20 years from now public opinion is effectively frozen on the issue somewhere around 50/50.
