It's Banned Books Week. My fellow librarians, listen carefully: your book displays should be almost exclusively writers who are alive. Yes, I know classic literature is also being banned, but most of those authors are dead. They aren't suffering financially from bans and challenges.

Here's an updated look at why im still pushing for help with transportation & medical costs. Great news is doctors are suddenly concerned for my very failing health :'D bad news is im still scrambling to get help w/ coverage for transport & lyft/uber is $25-30 per ride. More info in reply

I think about how being painfully shy has lost me so many chances at opportunities or friendships or anything of the like. Dating an extrovert has helped more than I anticipated, but I think about the times I didn't want to inconvenience someone with my attention or presence. I hope I get better 😭
