I went 10 months on nothing but Ensure for exceedingly stupid health reasons, and the first actual flavour I had was French onion soup, and it's the closest a modern person can ever get to the medieval peasant with a Dorito.

As an American political historian, I can confirm that this Congress has been "almost unmatched in history" in several categories -- sad abdication of its war powers, craven surrender of the power of the purse, weird refusal to conduct meaningful oversight, and an utter failure to pass actual laws.

If I was going to identify one thing that bothered me about these people from the start it was the seemingly widespread belief that intellectual rigor required you to be open to claims about race science and like no it doesn’t, quite obviously so
I think something that isn't at all the main point of any of this but that is being surfaced by the "what exactly is bad about EA/TPOT/rationalists" and at least some of the pushback from those of us who do in fact dislike all the people who've caused the pushback is...ugh can't fit this in one post
