inquisitive chicken.
i’m pretty sure social algorithms are just the perfection of chain e-mails.

sure you don’t always message a post link to someone, but you give it attention which automatically does the forwarding part for you.

and y’all, chain e-mails sucked. right?

deconstructing my faith was always sort of fun, but deconstructing myself is unhinged.

did that one philosopher dude ever say that life *was* pointless, or just that it was helpful to think about it that way for his own survival?

we had all decided, or been told, that we should work to be our best. instead of all getting healthier together, we blew it. we took a chance on a work ethic and ended up distributing $1 trillion to a space ranger and advertising during “hydration breaks.”

can’t decide if the impending thunderstorm is actually a thing… or if fellow minnesotans are just losing their minds like when the first snow flies and we all forget how to drive?

this alt halftime thing is apparently throwing some wild shade at bad bunny for speaking against ice,

but they picked the guy who sang “young ladies, i like ‘em underage” as their headliner of choice for “[entire families]” of folks “who love america?”

what a wild timeline.

I have never loved Minneapolis more than I do in this moment.
brass solidarity band performing “stand by me” in the streets of whittier next to alex pretti’s memorial. the crowd started chanting “the people united will never be defeated” so they incorporated it into the song. i love minneapolis

this thread is exactly the best of what i have experienced living in minnesota. somehow i believe we’re built for this moment.
I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.
