The United States and Israel launched a joint strike against Iran, an act of war without Congressional approval. This is a crime against the American people.

Trump is working with a genocidal regime to start another bloody war in the Middle East. Congress must vote to block further strikes now

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.

Ohio braces for an ICE enforcement surge as TPS for Haitian refugees is set to end next week. Gov. DeWine says Springfield could face 30 days of enforcement unless courts intervene. ACLU warns communities are at risk. Losing TPS means detention, deportation. Refugees are being targeted—by design.

Due to the federal government shutdown, there is no updated CDC data to inform a Weather Report. COVID is still being transmitted around the country and everyone should continue to use their layers of protection: high-quality masks, get your updated boosters, testing before gathering,

I can’t believe I’m watching interviews of city mayors talking about how they are coordinating with other mayors to discuss how to protect their residents FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

I know we are “used to it” but it is absolutely insane

Let’s be clear: Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans forced a government shutdown tonight.

Rather than address the health care crisis that they created just earlier this year, they refuse to come to the table and do their jobs.

What happened to the art of the deal?

Just to note. January 23, 2019 there was a vote to reopen government (HJ RES 28, roll call vote 46) when the govt had been shut down for 30 days.

Mike Johnson voted “no” on that.

They didn’t seem to mind shutdowns then

The kids are not alright.

They need the adults to do the right thing.

They need us to acknowledge the very real threat of Long Covid, and start taking steps to mitigate the risk.

We urgently need to adopt mandatory masking in healthcare, paid time off & clean air in public spaces:

David Rose, the police officer and Afghanistan veteran with a wife and 2 small children, was murdered by a white, right wing extremist man a month ago over antivaccine conspiracies pushed by RFK Jr. and this administration.
