Okay so I hate to make something into an emergency but the last of our food just spoiled without warning, leaving us with nothing here in terms of food, anything really helps right now and I'm really sorry that this turned urgent like this

In the US, it's very difficult to obtain disability benefits. Even if you do, the amount you get is usually not enough to cover living expenses/basic needs.
This is a large part of why I rely on mutual aid to afford to live.

I really need to try to sleep, but it hasn't come easy lately.
I miss being able to sleep 8-10 hours a night. I'm lucky if I get 4 hours in one go. I've struggled with this issue for a couple of years now, and am chronically sleep deprived.

Disabled people are more likely to live in poverty and less likely to be able to afford preventative care or routine treatments for conditions that start small and snowball.
