I don't know what else to really say - I didn't mean to write this much...

But I mean it when I say that disabled people need more help than ever.

Do what you can. 🥹

In certain scenarios of being disabled, in poverty, and having little support, you have a higher chance of being left to the wayside and not receiving the help you need.

More often than not, disabled people tend to have to accommodate non-disabled people. Ironic, because it should be the opposite.

A lot has been on my mind for a long time. I've never quite been the same ever since Stevie passed away.

The systems in place to help disabled people are flawed and weak.

I wish as a nation/society we had more help & more open minds when it comes to disability.

A lot of the time, I feel guilty about reposting my Ko-fi, commissions, etc, but I have no other avenues of income and support otherwise.

I wish I could fully express in words how much I am grateful for anyone's help, patience, and kindness.

Preventative and routine care saves lives, saves your teeth, saves a lot of unnecessary pain. You're right on all fronts here.

I lost my all of my teeth partly because I grew up in poverty and was never taught how to take care of myself by my parents.

I wish more people understood.

We also live in a society that likes to blame people for both poverty and illness, so when you say something like “a dental abscess? Why didn’t you just get the filling to begin with? Or better yet, eat healthy!”

Well, it’s a load of bullshit in a lot of directions.
