The RCMP's watchdog was set to release a report this week into police conduct at Fairy Creek and Wet'suwet'en.

Then David Eby's sudden snap election call prevented its release.

Thanks to BC's snap election, Canadians won't know for at least another month whether the RCMP division that policed Fairy Creek and Wet'suwet'en protests needs reform.

Total is now $24/581 goal.

Would really help to get a monied person to give a large dono so we can get closer to at least vehicle repairs 💸💕
$100 still needed for vehicle maintenance/repair and now 481.00 for electric

i do not say this as a criticism, but people who don't know how bad it is are being offered the opportunity to misunderstand, simply by how we word this, over and over.

we are NOT facing an uncertain ecological future, we are NOW facing CERTAIN mass extinction, without radical change.
If you're a data viz person and you're looking for a creative kickstart, why not look to the birds?

Bird data is as fascinating as it gets, huge in scale and changing every day. It's also profoundly important as we face an uncertain ecological future.

Best of all, you can make it yourself!

I want every Weston to be so fucking poor they have to work cash in there own shitty stores.

my thread on 🇨🇦 getting mad that 🇺🇸 renamed something that both 🇨🇦 and 🇺🇸 inherited from 🇬🇧 that changed the name from 🇫🇷 who themselves changed the name at least twice, eventually settling on a name taken from some ✝️ missionaries who themselves took the name from the people they were trying to convert 😵‍💫
oh shit there's more lakes, and they are all really big. we need new names now, hows "Ontario" or "Lac de St. Louys"? The latter one sounds great, I bet it'll stick
