It occurs to me that AI is something of a second Industrial Revolution.
Right now, consumers are arguing with each other over whether clothes should continue to be sewn by hand, or by machine, because Industry wants us too consumed to ask the real question: Who owns the hands that make the clothes?

Driving through Fort Wayne earlier today, I started scanning the radio stations. I found one doing local news, and listened to the end of the update.
I then heard "We now join CBS Radio in progress", followed by dead-air. It was still dead when I left the listening area.
