Trans people deserve so much better than having to live through hostile politics that caricature their existence as a problem. Behind all the “legitimate concerns” and “careful reviews” lies an entrenched fear that being trans is bad and is something doctors, politicians, etc should try and prevent.

Trans people deserve so much better than having to live through hostile politics that caricature their existence as a problem. Behind all the “legitimate concerns” and “careful reviews” lies an entrenched fear that being trans is bad and is something doctors, politicians, etc should try and prevent.
This is a clear reminder to all racialised, gay, and other minoritised people who seek to befriend fascists and pursue their politics. No matter how well you spout their poisonous rhetoric, they hate the nature of your existence, and the moment will come when you will be trashed with the rest of us.
The Milo stuff is the perfect picture of fascism. You think you're protected because you go as big as you can on racism, you spend years harassing the movement's perceived enemies, you even disavow your own sexuality. They'll still throw you in a cage over the tiniest disagreement already forgotten.
