Something satisfying of making a pair of purposefully mismatched socks out of leftovers. Colours might not be what I would have naturally chosen, they will be warm and are using up scraps lying around for 10 to 15 years. #leftoversockyarn ##scrappysocks

Made the call to frog the last pair. They were cute, but I wasn’t enjoying knitting them. I just wanted to knit a simple pair of socks and I wanted to use up some leftovers. Some crazy colour combos later and they are coming along. #sockknitting #leftoversocks

2nd time changing the bike inner tube a success (hopefully). Always makes me feel strong and powerful to learn (or relearn) these simple skills that save you $30-50 of a mechanic time.

My 14 year old was gone a week for a school trip. It was shocking how much food was left in the fridge and how much older he looked when he got home.

Running is my anti-stress medicine… that is till I nearly got hit by a car this evening that didn’t look right before going.
For the record, I stopped, car stopped. Fully looked like they saw me so I started going because I had the right of way and then they went, missing me by less than a foot.

The Jalie Jacqueline shorts are my favourite running shorts!! Tested these awhile back and used a race shirt to do the outer layer and had just enough scraps to do the inner shorts and waist band. #jaliejacqueline #jaliepatterns
