1st time i opened claude code the artifact it produced to fix a bug that should have been a one-liner had 84 build errors so i closed claude code and wrote the fix myself
We use the term futureshock in my friendgroup to describe the bottomless disorientation that we experience when we see these things do something new that didn't previously seem possible. I'll probably never forget the first time I loaded up claude code.

People who aren’t using AI to code at this point are delusional or lying, trying to ride a horse down the highway and backing up the traffic instead of asking “what can we do to make cars safer and electric.” They have no ethical high ground
