One of the things about the "GC" movement is that at the start it was all trying to be reasonable and "of course I support real trans people, but what if a predatory man takes advantage?" and along the way it morphed into "all trans people are predators and must be identifiable and kept separate"

Cream. Especially whipped cream. I can't remember a time when I didn't like the stuff.
I love milk, yoghurt, cheese, and other milk products, though. So it's not an allergy issue.

Ice cube machine has arrived. It's sitting for an hour to let the coolant settle, then it will be set onto the cleaning setting before we can use it. It all seems simple enough. Plus, buying early in the summer means we can use it to its maximum benefit.

Last night one of the carers was male. Mini-Me hates strange men. But kitty stayed. Mini-Me didn't rush off in terror and remained in the room. Mini-Me was a little nervous, but he stayed in the windowsill the whole time, and only moved once Toni came out from her spot under the bed for cuddles. 1/

Herb’s older brother, my grandfather, is 102 and served our country in WWII as well (although he didn’t see combat).
I know, because he’s told me, how furious he is about this admin’s rhetoric against refugees and immigrants.
He remembers well the bigotry his own immigrant-origin family faced.
