What a surprise.

"What are the protests achieving?"

A constant sense that this isn't over, and the Georgian Dream cannot achieve a full control.

I am searching for ideas for how to monetize so that I can continue Georgia diplomacy & democracy advocacy long-term — and to not always depend on your very kind donations.

And to be honest, other than monetization, I also feel like I should take up on a new challenge and expand myself anyway.

@johnmiedema.bsky.social Thank you a lot! I want to reply in more detail. For now just this:. When you say, "[writing essays] was greatly facilitated by AI. I finally could write almost as fast as I think", I couldn't but grin *and* marvel that you didn't continue "slow reading" with "slow writing".

One wonders why there has not been (much) resistance against Hitler and his regime, against Stalin and his regime, or against Putin and his regime. (Or against Xi and his regime, for that matter.) And why there is resistance against Trump and his regime.

Perhaps it's a good thing that BlueSky restricts its post character limits to 299. If they raised it, I'd probably write even more profusely.

I was thinking yesterday how Ridley Scott created three wonderful movies — Alien, Blade Runner, Black Rain — with the same style of lighting and shadowing. His way to lend lighting and shadowing their extra depth and texture via slowing down the *time* by means of the sound is remarkable.

I don't like Tolkien's work. But I don't like Rowling's work either. Penny novels, their impact based on sensationalism, not literary quality.

A dumb decision. Tolkien's work lacks literary quality, intelligence, sense of humor. It's a gluttony of cheap heroism and authoritarian group-think. On a par with penny novels, the creativity in literary set design notwithstanding.

Entscheidet Euch.
