I know for dang sure Ferris has at least 15 separate sources of inspiration making them entirely not original at all, all I did was make them up in my head but that's not really anything special or unique, anyone with a little imagination can do it, yknow whats not special tho that's right aigen the gd art theft machine that can't carry a thought for itself fck u ai anyway i use OC for the algorithmic branding bc that's social capitalism baby but know that none of my characters aren't original and chances are no one's characters are original, but i think that simply unifies all our creation as diverse in uniqueness if we just let go of the idea of originality, ie "if every character is original, no one is" also in a way an 'original character' almost feels kinda redundant and mostly oxymoronic, cuz in the end it's just a character. we are just people. some people think they're more unique than others. the idea doesn't set them apart tho. this is the longest alt text on bsky, surely. where were we? oh right) offering a small snack to a soft, fluffy cat-moth creature on their shoulder, as they pet it with their free hand.
