I genuinely think one thing I'm learning from the Trump II situation is that while it's true the poor don't vote in their interests it turns out neither do the rich. Competent economic stewardship would be better but they massively over value ephemeral stats goods they erroneously believe he grants.
I think the only real lesson I’ve learned about American politics is that rich people will vote in their own interests and poor people won’t
