The craziest part of the rise of Trump in politics to me will always be how established GOP politicians just bent over for him. Even before he won the first time he’d have had to catch a fade for the shit he said.

The $30 million AIPAC wasted in Michigan, wasted trying to help Haley Stevens, could have been used to fully fund and deliver 6 million malaria nets to sub-Saharan Africa.

Or, it could have fully paid for universal free school breakfasts in Mississippi, America's poorest state.

Prepare for an insane explosion of Islamophobia between now and November, from the same people on the right (and center!) who pretend to be exercised by the rise in anti-Jewish bigotry.

The hate will be off the charts and make the anti-Zohran campaign look tame.

Mark my words.

The question isn't what this primary tells us about the future, it's what it says about the *present*.

And the answer is that even though 100% of party leadership, donors, consultants, and AIPAC are maniacally opposed to candidates like El-Sayed, Mamdani, etc... at least 50% of party VOTERS aren't.
My ice-cold boring take that will definitely not go viral is that a primary result with a margin of victory of roughly 1 percent tells you precisely nothing about The Future Of The Party.

Crazy because they show titties on Netflix now.

The whole titty. Nipple and all!
A thing I don't think young people realize is that a) the Simpsons was quite controversial when it was first on the air and b) there was a legit national scandal around Bart using the word "sucks" in an early episode as being too vulgar for broadcast TV.

I saw the beginnings of what I thought was about to be a really inspirational commercial for the future of humanity and then the polymarket logo appeared and I almost ripped the tv off the wall.

I’ll usually start a set playing like 2-4 songs then I introduce myself by starting off saying “People call me a lot of names. Some of them to my face” as an ice breaker

GOOD NEWS! A personalized mRNA vaccine, known as mRNA-4157, has shown promise in keeping melanoma, a deadly skin cancer, from returning. FIVE years later, NEARLY 70% of people in the vaccine group are CANCER-FREE. The vaccine also cut a person’s risk of the cancer metastasizing by NEARLY 60%.
A personalized vaccine for melanoma cut the risk of cancer returning after five years
If the vaccine is effective in a late-stage trial, it would be “paradigm-shifting,” one expert said.

And I posted this to show that even when you do that, it still pops up lol. He has filters and words blocked, and the videos still find a way around them.
reminder that it takes like 20 mins to curate content on YouTube Kids. my son can only watch videos from like 10 channels that we've approved.
This why you gotta pick up them kids tablets randomly. Cause why is this on YouTube kids. With the parental filters on.
