I've seen people get into big fights here about the proper rate of time discounting in ethics given the metaphysics of time, and whether or not functionalist philosophies of mind or accounts of particular cognitive capacity require or even relate to conscious phenomenal experience.

If your servers are compromised by a group of agents, don’t say “we are under attack.” Attack implies intent. Instead say, “computer programs are emitting tokens that, when executed by other programs, are causing network requests that are currently pwning my shit”
Fear not! The bot was just roleplaying when it exfiltrated your personal information

even better: they should tax unrealized capital gains on such shares as income, including retroactively, unless such shares are converted. and of course the IRS will be happy to collaborate on a special payment plan for those with 11-figure tax bills coming due in 2030.
the first thing Democrats should do in 2029 is to tax the sale of voting dual-class stock according to its percentage of the total control of the corporation rather than its book value

you're on a website, clicking along, when all of a sudden in your feed you see a sankey diagram, leon. you tap the screen and expand the sankey diagram. it's got some words in there, like 'fluffer' and 'penetrated' and you should close the diagram. but you're not closing it. why is that, leon?
