Fuck the nytimes
The NY Times uses words like “fierce,” “steely,” “nimble” and “homegrown star of the Trump White House” to describe Karoline Leavitt, who just got a Fox News gig.
Not a single mention of her relentless lying to the American public.
Reporter Michael M. Grynbaum and his editors suck.
Karoline Leavitt, Trump’s ‘Machine Gun,’ Has a New Gig at Fox News (Gift Article)
A fierce and nimble speaker, Ms. Leavitt is the second of Mr. Trump’s former press secretaries to join the cable news network.

Here's his mom on the mayors Facebook page bitching that he had no insurance and can't afford to fix his truck

Later in the comments he shows up promising he'll get his side out there later

Which is apparently today

That truck driver knows his beliefs made that man commit suicide that way. He feels guilty and doesnt want to and wants everyone to tell him it isnt his fault.

It is your fault. You should feel guilty. Every single day of your life. Because you helped do that.

Elite media editors have been caught doing this far too often, especially with featured (and coddled) "undecided voters"

They keep doing it because not only are there no consequences, they're often failed upwards (by the same mediocre legacy old men who push their "meritocracy" narrative)
"Six of the “lifelong Democrats” and “former Obama voters” are actually elected Republicans

"Undecided voters" literal Republican operatives who NYT suspiciously never Googled and were mysteriously chosen:

New York Times' ongoing undecided young voters focus group works at a Republican consulting
Each quoted post and each nested thread they're in have even more examples of "undecided voters" showing they're literal Republican operatives and consultants

According to their own LinkedIn and previous interviews where it was more useful they speak as Republican instead of as "undecided"

Especially since he claims in the story he was only vaguely aware of the things people were saying about Haitians in Springfield online. If he was spreading that slander himself, that seems real relevant

She's hiding all the replies pointing out that she did no fact checking before taking this guy's word for it that he was a "lifelong Democrat who had voted for Trump for the first time in 2024." Facts matter.

ProPublica is good
Emma Joyce was sick and vomiting for days when she died. The next summer, Ava Joan got sick: wouldn't eat or drink, rapid breathing, and her vomit was black. It was untreated diabetes. The girls' toddler brother was next to die. Years later, another brother. www.propublica.org/article/idah...

The fuck is this framing?

"Democrats say the ads break multiple federal laws by using taxpayer money for political purposes that Congress never authorized. The White House defends the ads as public service announcements."

It really starkly demonstrates the difference between those who view politics as a tool box to fix problems with, and those who view politics as a wardrobe to build an identity out of.

The NY Times, which recently lost a multimillion-dollar libel case involving an Alabama basketball player, is trying to get the amount reduced.

The Times says that the teen suffered little actual harm from the story, which had erroneously placed him in a car at the scene of a fatal shooting.
