Tomorrow, my students and I begin Zora Neale Hurston’s masterpiece. This is my favorite novel to read and teach and this is the most perfect first page in all of literature.

Fell off a step stool at work today. Stool boke, I fell backwards into desks, chairs fell on my head, landed on my bum and left hand. Right arm shielded my head from the chairs that rained down on me.
I hurt now. Pretty sure left hand is not broken, but it hurts and a bit swollen. Not bruised.

Measles was once considered eliminated in the United States, but is coming back in some communities as people choose not to vaccinate themselves or their children. SRHD identified 4 exposures and 1 positive case from Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital.

#Ragebaiting and #Trolling shouldn't be paid professions, side-gigs, or hobbies (done for 'fun'). Rewarding bad behavior begets more of the same. It's petty middle school mean-girl/bully behavior. Can't you all just find a way to use your powers for good instead of whatever the heck this is?
