Fourth of July was always kind of whatever to me because until I was like 22 my hometown had a gigantic Third of July rager so on the fourth everyone was already banged up. Miss that shitshow. The year I did it as a drinking person is by far in my pantheon of memorable days

One of the most special nights not just in Philadelphia hardcore, but hardcore in general. More importantly, the night that solidified that I found more than a best friend as we held a PA speaker up but someone I would forever call a brother.
