This is a huge shadow over Burnham's effort to make #Labour look reasonable. Mass arrests for wearing T Shirts and carrying placards...

More than 250 protesters sat outside Labour's party conference in Liverpool to support the banned group.

If any of these extremists found themselves in danger at sea, the RNLI would place themseles in danger to rescue them...
RNLI staff have faced "unacceptable" online & physical abuse since anti-migrant protests.

"Deliberate misinformation and a misunderstanding" by thugs hiding behind "balaclava or a keyboard".

Solidarity with RNLI volunteers. They do a great job in saving lives, must be respected.
Abuse of RNLI volunteers 'wholly unacceptable', chief says
Peter Sparkes says there has been "deliberate misinformation" spread about the charity.

So sad to hear of the death of Jason Arday. Whatever truth or otherwise in the allegations against him, he was mercilessly attacked in the media both mainstream and social.

He was in reality a vulnerable and it seems kind young man.

RIP

#BBCBreakfast are trying to spin the #Farage embarassment as a good result. Sarah Campbell is saying his vote went up, erm there was no opposition...
#bridgetphillipson rightly descibes this as normalising the absurd!
August 14, 2026 at 6:39 AM
Farage says he did not go to the Clacton result because Police had warned of a plot to embarass him. I think he's achieved that on his own!

The #bbcnews has turned the desperate need to free uo prison space into a campaign to highlight one issue. And if the government decides to do what they want, they will cry 'U Turn!!
August 11, 2026 at 6:42 AM
Watching #BBCNews they are only talking about Andrew Harper. If that is the only possible issue with the entire early release scheme then it can't be that bad...
August 9, 2026 at 8:15 AM
Why is #BBCbreakfast pushing the Andrew Harper story as a single issue case?

France calls out the U.S. at a UN meeting:

“The US used to be a beacon of human rights. Not anymore. Today, it stands alongside North Korea, Nicaragua, Mali and Russia. Isolated. And the world no longer listens to it.”

U.S. representatives stormed out of the meeting. Well said France! 👏🏼🇫🇷👏🏼

Just watched England v France - well done both teams. Both sets of players seem to have said - Forget Trump, Forget Infantino, Forget Malvinasgate, and the outrageous prices - let's show the #USA and the world what footie can be like
July 19, 2026 at 8:41 AM
No surprise here! It is nothing to do with Freedom of speech. It is to do with understaning that divisive politics have no place in sport. To be fair the #USA has already shown us all that they don't understand this or don't care

Nadhim Zahawi is an embarassment to the England shirt. He would still have us believe that #Farage will be vindicated if he beats Count Binface...
July 12, 2026 at 8:47 AM
Imagine if Count Binface was the only other candidate and beat him!
The Government must block Nigel Farage’s resignation until the Standards Commissioner finishes investigating him. The people of Clacton deserve the full facts.

If a by-election does go ahead, all parties should stand aside. We cannot give oxygen to this vanity project.
July 7, 2026 at 5:05 PM
Well I suppose the people of Clacton will get to see their MP
