Sentences beginning “Guess what” are not questions, and thus don’t end with question marks.

Ditto sentences beginning “I wonder.”

There was never a better time to start shifting away from #Google. I know #degoogling totally is not easy but we can all take simple first steps, like signing up for another free email service and forwarding your Gmail address to it. #LakeOntario

Ships traveling between the upper Great Lakes and the Atlantic must pass through Canada’s Welland Canal. The 27-mile canal and all eight of its locks are entirely in Ontario, meaning a strategically important portion of U.S. Great Lakes maritime trade depends on Canadian-controlled infrastructure.

His average supporter has no need or want for a passport so 6 months from now he'll be tossing these into crowds like paper towels
Nobody asked for this

They should reduce a politician's pension every time they preface a statement with "Let me be clear:". A phrase overused to the point it has become meaningless.

Oh how I hate this too. It happens all the time with the Cyrillic alphabet as well. The result is nonsensical.
I am once again begging Hollywood to stop using the Greek alphabet for an Ancient World movie, if they can't afford to even throw a couple of quid at anyone with an inkling of the language.

Unless they really think audiences are dying to see THS THDPSSSSPS

As a translator and proofreader I can testify to this. As a text reaches book length, the chances of properly spelled but misused words slipping through, like "pubic" instead of "public," increase greatly.
Dear reader, no book, published any century, does not have at least one typo.
I've genuinely not read a book published this century that didn't have at least one typo.

Turning Mitch McConnell into a meme in order to get attention is distasteful. I don't like his politics but he's still a human being with a family.

Whenever I go out in public with my cane or walking poles, people invariably hold doors for me, make space for me, and regularly even make encouraging comments like "keep it up" or "looking good." The only place where people try to duck in front of/get around me is Costco (but that place is a zoo).

Je suis quelqu'un qui regarde rarement la télé mais je regarde #AstridEtRaphaëlle en rafale. Époustouflé par la qualité du jeu d'acteur, et la dynamique entre les personnages principaux est touchante. Très content d'être tombé sur cette série.

I just read the last page of Death of a Red Heroine by Qiu Xiaolong. What a gripping crime story full also of fascinating insights into life and the structure of society in 1990s China. I'm looking forward to reading the next in the Inspector Chen series. #booksky

This sentence gives him away if nothing else does. He would never be able to describe the subjunctive mode, let alone use it in a sentence. #grammar
