100% agree with this sentiment. Velcro all the way!
Also, toggles are a great alternative and easily accessible to convert laced up shoes and runners.
Tying shoelaces are the bottom of the pond in terms of things to be worried about.
Your autistic kid does NOT need to learn how to tie their shoes. Velcro shoes exist. Slip on shoes exist. If tying shoes is not working, please let your kid save their energy to work on the things everyone agrees they CAN & WANT to do. (Same for autistic adults, BTW.) #dyspraxia #autism #disability

Well done to Ken Early, Irish Times and Second Captains, for pointing out the total hypocrisy of the Israeli FA who said sport and politics don't mix even as the captain of the apartheid state's team and its fans praised its genocidal army. There is still time for the FAI to pull out. #StopTheGame

A gut-punch of a statistic, reflective of what's happening throughout the entire natural world.

But using the word "stocks" to describe a wild population of one of Earth's most breathtaking, magical species indicates precisely why we've reached such a predicament.

I don’t think that this should just be shrugged off. One of our Ministers (Enterprise or Justice, probably) has presented this plan. It isn’t an anonymous creature called the Irish Presidency.

That is our Government.

It has been confirmed that Gavin Bazunu has withdrawn from the Republic of Ireland squad after a "significant majority" of players voted to fulfil tomorrow's nights UEFA Nations League game with Israel.

I'm not a sports fan, but I'd be prouder of the Irish team for not playing, than playing.
