“Every billionaire is a policy failure” has been a catchcry for ages.

But it’s increasingly clear to me that every billionaire is also a *moral* failure. It’s simply not possible to have reality-warping wealth and maintain any moral compass or sense of ethics.

NEW: Brown Brothers Media is the most successful media company you've never heard of. For years, its success was fueled by AI, fake writers, and fake reporting.

When we started asking questions, BBM started mass-deleting content. Somehow, what came next was even worse.

Holy shit.

Marcy Kaptur becomes the latest Dem to release an anti-trans ad, and its worse than all the rest combined.

"I voted WITH Republicans to keep transgender ideology out of schools, and let me be clear, boys should NOT play in girls sports."

This is getting out of control.

Persuasion fails when we focus our efforts on those least likely to be persuaded, or when we define persuasion as "agreeing with our opponents intellectually in hopes of reciprocation." So often, "persuading fascists" is confused with "being persuaded by fascists." www.the-reframe.com/us-and-them/

The only thing they're persuading voters is they'll back down and fold to whatever fascist nonsense Republicans come up with, abandoning the real people affected by it to abuse, terror, deprivation, exclusion, and death.

"Your brains stop developing at age 25" was a press misrepresentation of a study. They wanted to see if brains continued to develop after adolescence, so the study was capped at age 25.

A later study with a wider subject pool showed that brains are ALWAYS developing our whole lives.
this is why it's my pet peeve fake science fact. It's absolute bs! nothing happens to brains at age 25, they do not "fully mature". you will notice that many societies have an age of majority or coming-of-age or whatever and none of them have ever chosen mid-20s.
Many people seem to be confused on this point.

The GOP is passing/intro'ing bills banning GAC up to & including the age of 25 on the theory that brains don't fully mature til then.

In public they call them bans on "minor" care.

It's a deliberate GOP strategy to make themselves seem less radical.

This is straight out of Handmaids Tale.

A high school trying to force girls to disclose the dates and lengths of their menstrual cycle.

Don’t comply? You lose a grade.

There’s absolutely no reason a school needs this information other than to exert control over our bodies.

Judge says Trump’s board may not demolish Kennedy Center without warning

Mr. Kennedy spoke next, linking arms with the group even as measles cases continue to rise”
