Today is the 117th consecutive day somewhere in the UK has recorded a temperature of 20°C or higher.

The 11th of June was the last time we didn't reach this threshold.

Fresher air comes in on Wednesday allowing temperatures to fall, and likely to stay just below 20°C.

Seen in the Garden - self seeded common toadflax and cyclamen with carder bees, green shield bug, and a frog in the pond which is still only a puddle but rain should be on the way!

October has certainly delivered so far on those perfect cosy autumn mornings 🌅

Pie Thagoram, Gordon Craig, Amanda Boardman and Matthew Pottage 📸
A serene landscape featuring a vibrant sunrise with vivid orange and yellow hues across the sky. Silhouetted trees are visible in the foreground, with a layer of mist hovering above the ground, adding a tranquil atmosphere. A stunning sunrise over a calm lake reflects vibrant pink and purple hues in the sky and on the water. Silhouettes of trees line the horizon, adding to the serene atmosphere. A gnarled oak tree stands in the middle of a misty field surrounded by ferns, with dense fog partially obscuring the surrounding trees. A serene pathway in Hyde Park, lined with trees showcasing autumn leaves. Three figures on horseback are riding along the path, illuminated by gentle streetlights. The atmosphere is calm and misty.

Gorgeous “Morning Glory” flowers for you this morning. When I lived in Johannesburg as a child it was thought of as a pernicious weed, like we think of Bindweed. Perception is a mysterious thing! Bulb planting today with a bit of a rain dance/prayer added.
Two beautiful Morning Glory flowers, trumpet shaped with magenta stripes on the petals.
