Am I going crazy or is it really possible that no-one has ever written a book on the history of legal deposit in the UK? Or the history of legal deposit in the world? It feels like it should exist, but all I can find is a Library Association thesis from 1938.

Went to see Million Dollar Quartet today, and thought an extra playing the double base felt familiar because he looked a bit like Erling Haaland. Only at the curtain call did I recognise him as the Bloke With A Double Bass I See On The Bus Sometimes.

At the beginning of the year I was squeezing into a size 18 and reluctantly buying a few size 20s. Just had to get dressed for the second time today because a size 16 was so loose it looked terrible. Have just squished into a 12 😯
