For the past 26 years, the Dan Patch Corridor has been a can kicked down the road. A passenger line running from Northfield to Savage to Minneapolis that would bring jobs and commerce to Savage while connecting us with our state government was gagged by conservative politicians

I’m annoyed by those who say my firm is too partisan to be effective.

25 years ago, a group of terrorists killed nearly 3,000 people in New York City. The loss of life was horrific. Friends, colleagues, spouses, children perished because of that act of terror. 2,753 lights in the world snuffed out and many times more irreparably affected.

Every time we hear "The homeless people didn't use the resources we offered," the next questions should be "What specific resources did you offer? Were they actually meant to be helpful to people you claim to want to help? Did you offer actual shelter? Did it accommodate couples? Pets? Wet or dry?"
