Uplifts in Tangent Space come from pre-sapient animals. The first success was dogs becoming the Canan species. They are like the elder sibling to all the other Uplifts that come after.

Limited species are part of an uplift project to help them overcome filter events. They don't have a significant presence in space yet, but individuals can be encountered.

Sick of these content creators on YouTube using AI for thumbnails and using the "UWU I'm just a widdle creator I'm not an artist" excuse.
YouTubers didn't need AI before, they learned Photoshop, they drew their own thumbnails, they hired artists.
It just tells me I shouldn't watch your videos.

I just realized the Star Trek Holodeck has a lot in common with generative AI.
It generates stuff based on prompts.
It can only use preprogrammed source material.
It makes really inappropriate deepfakes.
It hallucinates all the time with unintended consequences.

I've noticed a big difference in expectations between TTRPG and Boardgames.
Boardgame players seem more willing to meet a game where it is and not expect it to meet every possible scenario.
