The WorldCon Masquerade was indeed well worth attending. All the costumes were fantastic but my favorite, because I have a deep and abiding love for the Harper Hall trilogy, was Menolly singing her Fire Lizard Song.

Belghast was one of the best people I've ever known. He formed communities by being warm, open, accepting, and supportive. Knowing that I'll never discuss games, books, and stuff with him again is devastating.
