🎉 Excited to announce that I'm joining VoidZero as DevRel!

As I was following the project from early on, I couldn't say no to the chance when @evanyou.me reached out.

I can't wait to share all the incredible things lined up for @rolldown.rs, OXC, @vite.dev, and @vitest.dev 👀

it turns out you already have all four if you have a bluesky account

OSS maintainers are sleeping on AgentScan! 👀
GitHub doesn't show how many projects use your GitHub Action or GitHub App, so I wrote a custom script to retrieve that information for AgentScan.

I didn't expect this many projects ❤️

I'm stoked on one end and sad on the other for the mess AI spam is causing. Stay positive 💪

I do framework things at @netlify.com and I am easily nerd-sniped, so naturally I painstakingly spelled out some messages with framework logos:

... oh, right, and I'll be speaking about stuff, be sure to tune in, etc. etc.

The @vitest/istanbuljs fork is now ready and will ship in the next version of Vitest. Compared to the original istanbuljs packages it's ESM-only, ships its own typings, drops unnecessary runtime deps, and moves Node 8→22, Babel 7→8 (lib-instrument), React→Preact (html-spa reporter), and more!

7 months ago I did a big "Upgrade to vite/rolldown" PR ( bsky.app/profile/orta... ) which reduced @puzzmo.com build times solidly.

Today we have experimental support for the react compiler in Vite natively (via oxc)

This managed to get all of puzzmo.com built in @vite.dev in under 3 seconds now!

The @react.dev compiler landed in Oxc (thanks @boshen.github.io) 🎉

It is 2x faster than the initial Rust port while being 2x smaller and comes with granular rule support for Oxlint, improved diagnostics messages, and an *optional* transform for @vite.dev (integration with the React plugin pending)

bit of a niche thing but i put a tool together for diffing ava and vitest snapshots.

migrating from ava to vitest is a pain because:

- vitest snapshots are text
- ava snapshots are encoded values, cbor'd, then gzipped

this tool lets you confirm your new vitest snapshots match the old ones
