my theory about Broken Windows was always that the problem was correct (the windows are broken) but the *solution* was wrong (beat up the guys who broke them).

on some level, you have to accept that yes, people are reacting emotionally without doing detailed research but really you can’t blame them or stop them. this was some bullshit not a single one of us had to think about three years ago and now it’s making shit worse in like most daily interactions
