Karoline Leavitt is likely the most effective Press Secretary we’ve seen in decades. But her abilities and record will forever remain tarnished for being party to the lies spread from the WH podium. Every press secretary must convey the messages from the White House, but never without integrity.

A "medium" sized bag of ice now costs $3.59 + tax here in Tennessee. It's 7lbs that will barely cover 3 bags of meat in my ice cooler. Thats not a medium size.
This economy makes businesses over charge everything, it seems like. Who validates this?

Amjad Tadros stumbled into journalism because Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait and he lost his engineering job. CBS hired him for one reason: he spoke English. He spent the next 33 years as a senior 60 Minutes producer.

He now lives the life of a date farmer in Jordan => https://youtu.be/GccCMYvh2Hk

The Pentagon's own figures: for every civilian killed, you create roughly 20 militants. That statistic isn't from an activist — it's from the Pentagon. And yet the calculus never seems to change.

Jordanian date farmer, once "the fixer" for CBS 60min, tells his story => https://youtu.be/GccCMYvh2Hk

Dear independent journalists and podcasters: A story needs to be both important AND interesting. Important-but-boring fails. Interesting-but-trivial fails. Hit both and you've got something.

"War is only what you have known and tasted — no narrative can describe it well." Pre-Islamic Arabic poetry, quoted by a 33-year CBS/60 Minutes veteran who covered every Iraq war. Still the truest thing about conflict.
