Hi, I'm Morgan, and I'm obsessed with classic movies! So I'm sharing my favorites! Help keep it going:

Sharing a scene from Who Is Harry Kellerman and Why Is He Saying Those Terrible Things About Me?.
Not my favorite, I’ll be honest. I mostly watch for Barbara Harris, she’s in it about 15 minutes, yet still earned an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress!

We can’t celebrate #WomensHistoryMonth without sharing this fantastic scene from The Women (1939).

Movie Trivia: During filming, Rosalind Russell bit Paulette Goddard’s leg so hard it reportedly left a permanent scar. Goddard later said she “didn’t take it too personally.”

Since it’s St. Patrick’s Day, here’s the mudslide brawl from McLintock! (1963) starring Maureen O’Hara and John Wayne.

Trivia: O’Hara did her own stunts and said, “I’m Irish, Duke. I don’t break.”

Favorite Irish movie or actor? 🍀

Victor/Victoria (1982) is one of my favorites! This cockroach scene is a classic.

Movie trivia: Julie Andrews is genuinely terrified of cockroaches in real life, making it even funnier.
You could say this is one way to face your fears. 🪳😅

I saw today marks the 20th anniversary of #MaureenStapleton’s passing, so I’m sharing a scene from her Oscar-winning role in Reds (1981).
Trivia: #WarrenBeatty reportedly pushed one scene to nearly 80 takes, prompting Stapleton to ask, “Are you out of your fucking mind?”

Celebrating #WomensHistoryMonth, with a powerful scene from Norma Rae (1979) starring #SallyField.

Movie Trivia: The famous union scene is based on a real life 1973 protest by textile worker Crystal Lee Sutton at a mill in NC. Her brave stand for workers’ rights.

Continuing our #WomensHistoryMonth celebration with a scene from Singin’ in the Rain (1952)

Fun Fact: Debbie Reynolds said filming this movie & childbirth were the two hardest things she ever did. With no professional dance training, she was previously a gymnast, she had just 3 months to keep up.

Celebrating #WomensHistoryMonth with this hilarious scene from The Lady Eve (1941) starring Barbara Stanwyck.

Trivia: Stanwyck’s commentary about the women chasing Charles was written almost like a stand-up routine. She delivered it so smoothly that many viewers thought parts of it were improvised.

Celebrate #WomensHistoryMonth with Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953).

Despite rivalry rumors, #JaneRussell & #MarilynMonroe were close friends. Jane even called her “Blondie” & helped her through onset nerves.

I love sharing stories of women supporting women!

Closing out #BlackHistoryMonth with The Defiant Ones (1958), two men chained together, confronting prejudice & survival.

Trivia: Tony Curtis said no stunt doubles were used. He & Sidney Poitier performed the escape drenched in mud & rain, shackled together.

Thanks for watching!

I couldn’t wait to share this classic with you today,
From Stir Crazy (1980)

Movie Trivia: When you hear Gene Wilder whisper “Stop it” to Richard Pryor, that wasn’t in the script. He was genuinely trying to keep it together because Pryor kept cracking him up.

You know there's some scenes you just watch? Well, this one you FEEL. Eartha Kitt and Sammy Davis Jr. made Anna Lucasta (1958) pulse with tumultuous energy!

Don Cheadle as Mouse in Devil in a Blue Dress (1995) is a masterclass.

Fun Fact: Mouse wasn’t meant to be a scene-stealer. The role was expanded only after Cheadle brought such unpredictable, terrifying intensity to the set.

Another beautiful scene to share today.

Bright Road (1953) gave Dorothy Dandridge one of her first true dramatic leads, portraying Miss Richards as an intelligent, compassionate teacher, a rare dignified role for a Black actress in 1953.

Sharing the Party Fight scene from Cooley High (1975).
Movie Trivia: 17 yr old Cynthia Davis played Brenda without glasses, seeing just a few inches ahead. Her timing and reactions were impressively sharp amid all the chaos.
