The mechanitch takes rigid, stuttering steps in her be-buckled boots through a stream of empty speech bubbles from the wizard and trucker. She has completely tuned the world out.
Dividing the page, a thin band of news-ticker scrolls. "KEEP IT TOGETHER? KEEP IT TOGETHER!". The two versions of the same phrase are separated with the circle and star facet sigils as seen repeatedly across the comic.
From our perspective, she and the 3d-printed writing desk are spotlighted as the gap is closed. In the darkness, the wizard rummages around in the bonnet of her car. There is an inset of the wizard handing over the scroll tube as last seen on page 21, saying something brief our point of view just does not internalise at all. There are captions suggesting our poor mechanitch has just about gone past her limit - certain phrases are in stereo, written practically on top of each other, and they will be represented as [ONE/TWO] in this alt text.

summary on this situation
1. surgery got delayed by A Lot
2. missed the window on having a surgeon who takes my insurance do it so it's gonna be out of pocket unless I wait until October
3. I have an on and off infection from one wisdom tooth so that's not going to happen
4. cost is now over $2000!
