Any #WindowsArm experts about? I have a #Thinkpad X13s (Snapdragon based) which I have setup to dual boot with #debian. Whenever I enable #Bitlocker I'm prompted to enter the recovery string and reboot every time I boot to #Windows through Grub.

With summer drawing to a close and the realisation that we have had Lanntair for a full year now, I figured it's time for a few photos of her from this summer. #DogsOfBkuesky

It's amazing how much one's outlook on life is improved by replacing a tatty screen protector with a nice new one. Doom is so much nicer to scroll now.

I've been enjoying this little daily puzzle for a while now. First time in a while that I've managed a difficult Sunday puzzle without getting stuck or making a silly mistake.

GUYS - I’ve just realised what Farage is going to do…

The thing is he now has NO WAY to proceed which doesn’t humiliate him.

If he wins, he is, as Rachel Reeves put it, The Man Who Spent His Summer Arguing With A Bin.

If he bails, he’s The Man Who Fled From A Bin.

And if he LOSES…

I come back to the fact that I am so relieved we avoided electing a leader who looked a bit funny eating a bacon sandwich. Imagine how silly we would have looked as a country if we had done that.

Well done, @operabrowser.bsky.social your incessant alerts about the football which didn't respect the settings have made me uninstall your product on my Android phone.

The #dishwasher needed mending; a buildup was letting water past a seal. A bigger issue was screws going into flimsy mounting points, several snapped off. The cynic in me thinks this is to discourage #repair. I stuck them back with some epoxy, but I still think appliance makers should do better.

A few more pictures of Lanntair who is turning into a fine young #dog. 10 months old already and I'm pleased to say that her training is coming along and she's a pleasure to walk. #DogsOfBluesky

Is it just me or did #spring (when it eventually arrived) only last about two weeks before feeling like summer? Nevermind, Lanntair isn't complaining. #DogsOfBluesky

What a welcome bank holiday. A bit of a slow start with one more coffee needed to get both of us moving, then I took Lanntair for a walk to see my dad and pick up my car. Then I took both dogs for a run in the woods with my wife to see the bluebells. #DogsOfBluesky

A lovely #Easter weekend taking a little time to appreciate that it feels like #spring has finally sprung.

It was the first session of a new session of Lanntair's training courses today. The weather wasn't very appealing, but she was a very good girl and did really well with her field work. #DogsOfBluesky

TRAINSPOTTING was released 30 years ago today. Acclaimed as one of the great British movies and a generation-defining piece of pop culture, the behind-the-scenes story is as lacking in moral fibre as you’d probably expect…

Unrelated to anything else going on in the world, I found these birds spaced so evenly on a streetlamp particularly pleasing

A few more photos of our little Lanntair (and a bonus one of Coco). She's suddenly turned into a handsome little #dog and is coming along leaps and bounds. 6 months old this weekend! Including a very rare shot of her asleep on my lap (which she hardly ever does). #DogsOfBluesky

I seem to have been somewhat lax in posting out new family member. It's been a bit manic in the few weeks since we've had her, not helped by a bout of the lurg. So Bluesky meet Lanntair, a #Collie #Labrador cross. Her name means light or lantern in #Gàidhlig (Scotts' Gaelic). #DogsOfBluesky

Bad Keyboards Thread:

So I like to make intentionally bad keyboards, in part because of my unfulfilled blood feud with mechanical keyboard enthusiasts, but mainly because I like being a chaos gremlin.

Most recently, the Juggling Keyboard:

Behold my latest keyboard, the JuggleKeyboard!

Just click the letters as they're juggled, it's an easy* way to type.

Sure sex is good but have you been for a bike ride with strangers and have them spontaneously tell you how cool your new bike looks?

Phew, I thought 5pn would be ok to work in the garden. It wasn't, I nearly melted.

Still at least the leeks have their long-overdue home.

So my #GravelBike ride to Screwfix after the rains had passed was a bit mistimed. It poured for most of the way there and I was soaked and miserable by the time I got there. But the sun came out and I had a tailwind for the homeward leg.

Have taken the dog for a walk. Got to shelter in the pub serving fruit cider and Gyros just asghe showers turned into pouring. I may be here a while.
