Are there good data on bone penetration for MDR TB drugs, incl the new ones? Particularly interested in penetration into bones with poor blood supply. Presumably quinolones and LZD get in okay. What about the other drugs? #TBsky

I don't understand this. We need a right sided winger and better full back and defensive midfield options. Why not make offers for Camavinga and Mbaye?

I find the argument made here problematic. Either it is ethical to randomise to a placebo or it isn't. I'd do response adaptive randomisation.

I wish media outlets would describe Nathan Cofnas as a racist rather than a "self-defined race realist" which doesn't mean anything to most people.

Another review will just kick the can down the road yet again.
All Andy Burnham need to do is introduce a bill to re-sentence prisoners still serving IPPs.

At the moment, people on Health & Care Worker Visa have no recourse to public funds. Why deny social security if they e.g. injure themselves at work? Treating carers with respect should include looking after them if they fall on hard times. Current rules deeply exploitative @stellacreasy.bsky.social
Worth repeating, the 'tough new visa rules' were designed specifically for care workers and their family members. If it's not going to work for them, it won't work for anyone else caught by the cruelty of the rules. Bin the whole thing.

But Rayner's point that it is un-British and unfair, as well as economically and politically counterproductive, to change the rules retrospectively applies to other workers on medium- skilled work visas (technicians/chefs/etc)

Loads of the money will go to people who are already comfortably off, and households where one or more workers earn less than the current threshold get little or nothing
Much better to raise universal credit, I would have thought?

Mr Burnham seems to have suggested:
- raising income tax personal allowance;
- much more spending on social care;
- more defence spending (Healey as ChX);
- no end to triple lock;
- keeping to fiscal rules;
- etc
Either he can’t deliver this or we’re in for big tax hikes

I consistently voice concerns about the idea drilling rosebank would be good for either the climate or the cost of living crisis - in the coming days as this debate returns I will continue to be a voice for prioritising the transition to clean energy for the sake of our pockets and our planet.
