Zach Cregger obviously had a blast doing #ResidentEvil and I had a blast watching it. It's as narratively lightweight as possible, but packed with icky effects and absurd gore that I couldn't help but love.

My overriding feeling after watching Pressure (which is completely fine) was that it's very British to make a war movie entirely about the weather. ⛈️

I'd respect Andy Burnham so much if he immediately actioned making Piddington independent from the UK. Turn off their access to the National Grid, ask the county council to stop collecting their bins, bring in border checks to leave.

I really enjoyed that show, but there's not a single chance I remember enough of it to appreciate a second season. And there's even less chance I have the time to rewatch it all. How is this even supposed to work?
just saw a story about the second season of Three-Body Problem coming soon and I mean surely we can come up with a better TV system than "hey remember that thing you watched eight episodes of two and a half years ago? no? you don't? you can't remember the plot or characters at all? well we're back!"
