SA was so prevalent at my Alma Mater that there was a dedicated Instagram page for survivors to tell their stories. Universities everywhere are failing women.
Same story with a friend of mine, who is now actually quite famous. She dropped out after my university refused to discipline the two men who raped her, and made her sit in the same class with her in her specialized major.
Her planned entire career path ended immediately.

A friend of mine was raped by football players at one of our college’s frat house in 1998. She went through the internal system, which exonerated the men and accused and blamed her. We wanted her to bring charges and a court case… but she was so broken by then. She dropped out.
