It's been a little while since I switched mains from Honda to Zangief in SF6 now, and imo the biggest difference in utility between them isn't about specific character matchups, it's that Zangief is stronger vs high level players & Honda is stronger vs players at every level below that

Fyi in Trump v US, SCOTUS didn't actually protect Trump from future punishment for illegal stuff like this, not really. He's presumptively immune from prosecution for it, sure, but future presidents could use THEIR immunity to engage in whatever official acts they want against Trump over it as well

That's actually kinda true! The word "fart" is among the oldest words we have, going all the way back to English's oldest known ancestor, Proto-Indo-European, which is thought to have it as "perd", so it's changed very little in ~6000 years. Geoffrey Chaucer wrote it as "fart" 600+ years ago!

There's a million reasons to think language is cool, but one of my favorites is that it's always changing. Like for example maybe in English you don't need subject-verb agreement for plural stuff after "there's a" anymore. Nobody gets to gatekeep or prevent changes in language. That's pretty cool

Los Angeles may have its most humid day ever this week due to one of 3 simultaneous hurricanes in the Pacific, & yes that's due to El Niño, but yes it's also due to global warming, and humidity is so unusual here that it makes me dwell on the catastrophe as much as the actually destructive fires do
