Patient was brought by mother due to concerns regarding difficulty toilet training. Patient has known case of genitalia ambiguous at birth. Mother reported Sandolphon's frequent bedwetting, infections of the bladder, and difficulty urinating standing up. A full genital exam was conducted. Patient did not tolerate exam well. Sandolphon was defiant and aggressive, but complied. Exam revealed malformed scrotum cleft in twain, malformed phallus underdeveloped in size, and translocation of the urinary opening. Diagnosis: Male psuedohermaphrodite. Sandolphon's last memory is of him standing next to Metatron with their mother behind them, holding his shoulders. He is redressed in his vest and tie. His eyes are vacant. He clutches a stuffed rabbit and wraps his tail around his body. Metatron, furious and sniffling, holds tightly onto his arm and looks up defiantly. Continued in next alt text. In a dreamlike scene of the dark operating theatre, adult Sandolphon looks back helplessly at his child self, backlit by light from an open door. He narrates: I don't know how to reassure my younger self. Speaking to his younger self, he says, "Doctors have to do these things. They were just trying to help us. I don't think they had malicious intentions." Continuing his narration: But even if all that were true... The next panel is a full page of adult Sandolphon in harsh lighting.
