This summer's intern lineup is stacked: feed-forward Gaussian splatting, INR-encoded splats, digital twins, robots, LLM benchmarks for scientific and molecular visualization. I have no idea how one cohort ended up covering all of that at once but I'm here for it.

Always a fun workshop. The honest lessons-learned part is usually the best part too... interested to see what people share this year.

Genesis Mission projects are out and honestly this is one of those "buckle up" moments. Can't wait to see what the next 5 years of AI acceleration does to the way we do science.

I ‘be been vibe coding a path tracer from scratch and I am impressed with the speed and quality of the code. Last time I tried to do this (about 1 year ago) it was a complete disaster. Today, in less than 4h I have a workable basic path tracer with GPU acceleration (kokkos) and ANARI support
