Kyle Clark is a treasure.
Squirrels on suicide missions have knocked out power to Castle Rock, Colorado twice this week. Our investigation has revealed a century of squirrel attacks covered up by the pro-squirrel media.

Okay so we *rightly* called Newsom scum for inviting Bannon on his podcast, surely a sitting Democratic Senator attending an actual event with Bannon is going to elicit the same level of contempt and shunning, right?

You know what I would like? I would like someone to sell me on the benefits of AI without lies or threats.

Because the vast majority of times AI has been brought into my life it's been with lies and/or threats.

Governor Abigail Spanberger quietly ended a rulemaking process initiated in the waning days of former-governor Glenn Youngkin’s administration. The rule would have limited transgender students' ability to play sports and use facilities.

“There’s no legal authority to move forward with rulemaking and prior administrations may have tried to create lanes and we’re not doing that,” Gov. Abigail Spanberger said.

America can't even get people to vote for the party in charge when things are going well, what the hell makes them think people are going to give them another chance when things are going abysmally?

Free newsletter: The idea that we're nearing the creation of AI systems that we can't control and that pose an existential threat to humanity is a lie and a distraction from the tangible harms and problems caused by LLMs and AI labs' near-unlimited resources.

Millions of eligible Americans aren't registered to vote — and many who think they are may have had their status lapse. Don’t be one of them.

Take two minutes today to check. Then let your friends know to check too!

I've never been a single issue voter, and I've never had the luxury of being one. If you are a single issue voter, then you have to do what you feel is right.

I vote to protect democracy. It's not always cut and dry. It's sometimes messy. I don't always like the choices, but I still look long-term.

Politics is not about "teaching lessons." It's about winning and wielding power. If you can't acknowledge that a Senate under any form of Democratic control is exponentially better for LGBTQ people than a Senate under Republican control, then you don't want power, you just want to critique power.

Before the ACA I had to lie about when I had my period because my perfectly normal 40 day cycle was considered a pre-existing condition that could be used to deny me coverage.
A thing I learned when I was denied insurance for being truthful about my own body and health.
People also don't grasp what a "pre-existing condition" is - they think a pre-existing condition is somehow just the serious & RARE things

Any prior illness! or injury! no matter how minor! could wipe you from coverage in the future
